Cleaning NY Harbor with oysters…

Have you heard of Billion Oyster Project? They are an ecosystem restoration project in NY Harbor that recycles oyster shells from restaurants around NYC. On our busiest weeks we’re able to recycle 3000+ oyster shells from Smorgasburg alone. These shells are used to build reefs that filter and clean the waters around New York City. This allows us to feel good about the stellar product we serve you AND bridges the gap between indulgence and the environment in which we all live, proving that there are better ways to do business while minding the earth and her waters. We are happy to be involved with such a great cause in our city. You can find more info at www.billionoysterproject.org.
